Spam on home page

Hi,

If you’re seeing additions to your title like this, it may be likely there is other spam, backlinks, and possibly malicious scripts included in the theme. I would uninstall it immediately, and choose a different theme.

It might also help to install a security plugin to help protect you in the future, and also clean up your site in case uninstalling doesn’t do the trick. I personally like Wordfence, but there are other out there like iThemes Security, and BulletProof Security.

Spun theme is VERY unlikely to be the sources of the hack – if it’s that. It’s a theme from here:

Can you post a link to your site?

Try deactivating your plugins and switching to a default theme (twentyfifteen) to see if that goes away. If not, sounds like your site has been hacked – in which case, these resources should be helpful:
