    Hello,

I have a question about the loading speed of the theme.

I use the theme for a few of my sites and I’m very happy about it but this week I did a speedtest on Google Pagespeed insights and the speed was not really. They say for example:

    Minify HTML
Compacting HTML code, including any inline JavaScript and CSS contained in it, can save many bytes of data and speed up download and parse times.
Minify HTML for the following resources to reduce their size by 1.8KiB (7% reduction).

Minifying https://www.sixpacks.be/ could save 1.8KiB (7% reduction) after compression.

    And also:

    Minify CSS
Compacting CSS code can save many bytes of data and speed up download and parse times.
Minify CSS for the following resources to reduce their size by 1.5KiB (26% reduction).

Minifying https://ajax.googleapis.com/…hemes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css?ver=4.3.1 could save 1.5KiB (26% reduction) after compression.

(where this comes from I really don’t know because smoothness theme I don’t know.

Most of the other issues are related to connections with Facebook etc. so that I can solve by removing it.

Does someone is familiar with the suggestions that Google gives and how did you speed up your pages?

    Best regards

There are plugins that you can use to minify your scripts, search the www.remarpro.com plugin repo with the term “minify”.

the theme is optimize as best as possible. although minify html/css might increase perfomance. since this is more of server side perfomance, not theme issue, i mark it as resolved.
