    Hi there,

    First, I highly recommend creating a child theme for your customizations so they won’t get overwritten in a future theme update.

    There are many ways to add an image to a theme… this is just one suggestion. I don’t know how you intend for the image to appear in the theme so you may have to play around with the placement to make it look the way you want, but in general, you could add HTML image code in header.php:

    <img src="https://url.to/yourlogo/file.jpg" />

    Obviously replacing the SRC with the actual URL to your image file.

    I have been told by my host that keywords and meta descriptions to improve SEO can be added to a page header but I cannot see how to do this with the sixhours theme. I am VERY NEW to this sort of work and already confused and lost with the ‘child theme’ process so I don’t know if this where I should be looking. Any help is appreciated.

    Keywords and meta are better handled by a plugin than by individual themes. This way if you decide to switch themes your SEO info will be preserved. I use the All In One SEO Pack plugin and it’s available in the plugin repository.

    Got the all in one pack and looked at the recommended forum post but I have no knowledge of HTML CSS or PHP and I cannot see how to create a directory or child theme (as above). What next?

    You don’t need to create a child theme for what you’re trying to do. Look at the help guide for All in One SEO for how to use the plugin.

    Got that and it seems easy to use, so hope it stays that way! I have enabled All in One for my home page. Do I need to do it for my other pages?

    If you want search engines to more easily find them, yes!

    Tried doing this but my worry is that the only option appearing to be offered by All in One is the Home page. I did try my About us page but there was no way of verifying if both pages had been done – confused!

    Not sure if this problem is only on Sixhours theme but All in One is very confusing. How did you set up the Options configuration panel and the individual page settings? I have tried to do both and it seems to me that the Options panel will conflict with at least one of the page settings.

    The theme itself is very basic, so the chances of a conflict with the plugin are slim to none. It’s been so long since I set up the plugin for myself that I don’t know exactly how it works. I’d suggest asking for help in the Plugins forum, or contacting the plugin author.
