• I created a child theme of Custom Community and know I’m using an obsolete version now (v. 1.17.3.1) but I don’t want to change anything until you have a stable update. I understand the reason you had to start over and I still have faith in you (Custom Community 1.17 was amazing) so I hope you’ll forgive me for requesting help on your now discontinued product.

My entire site is responsive, which I love, EXCEPT for the header image. It’s a mess. The strange thing is that in the theme settings, I have no background image selected, yet the Chrome developer tools identify my header image as a “background” image.

I have it set as centered, no repeat, and 65 px from the top… all under the Header tab, and Header Image sub-tab. Any clue what’s going on here?

Also, how do I access the code for this, in order to customize it? Do I just write the code into the CSS style sheet? (Always hate saying it that way. Redundant.)

I’m still fairly new at a lot of the facets of website development, so please forgive my question being so simplistic, if it is. Thanks for any help you can offer.

(The site is still hidden from the public, but if you need to see it, we can coordinate to “meet” in a particular time frame and I can get you in.)

New question: In the Footer settings, we have nine different options we can set, from Footer height, width, background image, etc to Footer widget settings. There is no way to edit the content of the footer. I want the footer to credit both the child theme and Custom Community. How/where do I locate this information to edit it.?

I’ll repeat that I know this theme is outdated, but I’m not having any problems with it. I can live with it while waiting for the completion of your update. Please tell me someone is still monitoring your support forum here.
