Theme settings lost after moving site Design ok

I moved a site but despite the theme style/design being ok some of the settings are back to default. I have tried 3 different ways of doing this with the same result!

For example, in theme settings, I have a drop down list of all countries in the world. After migrating the site these are gone and the settings are default. Same with pages. All my pages have been saved but aren’t showing as the page navigation has gone and needs redoing. If you go to ‘pages’ in the dashboard they’re all there in both old and new versions. But in the moved site the sample page is also in the list of pages. Categories seem ok.

I could simply redo this page of settings but need to know why this has happened. If I move it again which I will have to, as it’s being developed, it will be a nuisance. Any advice would be much appreciated.
