I am fairly new to www.remarpro.com and trying to find a theme that works for me. With the thousand of themes out there, this is very daunting. My problem is that the search menu doesn’t adequately cover the types of features I am looking for and the preview function doesn’t always answer my question about the functions.

For example, I just realized my current theme does not support thumbnails. I want to search for one that 1) has a custom header, 2) clearly shows comments at the top of the post, 3) supports thumbnails 4) has good widget support 5) has a good comment box that doesn’t run out of space or cause commenters to have to write past where they can see what they are writing.

There is no way I have found to search for these types of features… so I essentially have to trial and error all 194 themes that come up in my search. WAY FRUSTRATING.

    Am I doing something wrong?

Not really. it’s the same reason why image searching is such a pill, though :/

Searching for ‘terms’ is really subjective and hard to define in a way that works for everyone.

My suggestion would be that since MOST themes (and all themes hosted here) have DEMO pages, you should be able to sort out the look and feel of the FRONT end in there.
