• I have to begin by explaining “duplicate content” because I’ve been searching for hours on this and keep finding solutions and explanations for duplicate content relating to SEO and google.

I mean my content is literally duplicating on a page. I insert an image on a page, it shows up twice. I put in code for a contact form, it shows up twice.

The website I’m working on is Affinity

You’ll see the duplication on Portfolio, Join Our Mailing List, and Contact.

I have already tried disabling all the plug-ins. It produced no result. I changed to a different theme and the problem resolved, so I think I’ve narrowed it to something within the code.

I hope one of you brilliant code-minded folks can help me! Thanks in advance!

  • Looks like your theme’s page.php template file has 2 Loops instead of 1.

Thank you so much for your response!
Unfortunately I have to be one of those dumb kids right now…I’m not all that familiar with WordPress, what code makes up a loop? In other words, what am I looking to correct it?

    Have a look at The_Loop.

Thank you, that makes sense now. Unfortunately though I’m not seeing that in my page. Here is the code I have:

I hope you can see something I’m missing…I don’t have an eye for code…
