Theme Preview in Admin panel

  • I have a quick question. When I upload a theme to my WP-contents, sometimes there is no screenshot in the previewer when I go to view the themes I have loaded. Is this normal? Sometimes there is a pic of the theme and sometimes it just says the theme name and a blank square underneath it with the description of the theme. Is there a way I need to fix this or are there some themes that just don’t have a screenshot? Thanks for your time.

  • Sometimes there is no screenshot.png included, so nothing is wrong there

    red-star is correct. But to be sure that everything is working correctly you should navigate to your templates folder and see if a “screenshot.png” file resides there.

    Hey, thanks. I am sort of new here, but learning so much. I thought it was ok, but to be sure that I wasn’t missing something or overlooking it, I thought I would just doublecheck. You guys/gals (?) are the best!
