I do not want to get themes & plugins exposed by theme detectors available on the internet like https://www.wpthemedetector.com/ (There are so many) for security concerns. I am using a security plugin to hide themes, plugin detection. But it looks like, they are still identified. We are also getting many IPs list trying to attack theme files and folders. So we REALLY NEED to hide the name. PLEASE HELP

    Hi,

We are also getting many IPs list trying to attack theme files and folders. So we REALLY NEED to hide the name. PLEASE HELP

What features have you enabled in our plugin for security measures to protect your login form from brute force attacks?

    Thank you

I am not using any login form. We have enabled all security functions. But we see hackers trying to access theme files with some .php codes. Now it is obvious because hackers know which theme we are using. That’s why we need to hide it. I hope you understand. ??

    Hi,

Unfortunately at present there is no option in our plugin to hide the theme version. However if you set up some of the security features available it will make it very hard for them to have access to your site. That is the reason why I asked you above what features have you enabled in our plugin.

    Thank you

    What about Brute Force features?

But we see hackers trying to access theme files with some .php codes

Do you know which country the are coming from? Do you know their IP address?

    Regards

    Hi @nagarig
The feature you are asking for is currently not available in this plugin.

We may introduce something in future.

@mbrsolution From different countries. Mostly Russia, China, Ukraine, France, USA.

Looks like this feature might be added in the future, as mentioned above by the developer. But for now if you are really concern about this, try installing a third party plugin.

If you know the IP address, you can block these IP addresses using our plugin.

    Kind regards
