[Theme: Platform] Help with placing a plugin in the header

Hi there,

I’m using the free platform theme at the moment. I currently have an image of my organisations logo in the top left hand part of the header. However, directly opposite on the right hand side of the header I would like to have flashing quotes. I have found a widget that can do this (Super Simple Quotes) but obviously when I instruct the widget to be in the header it replaces my organisation’s logo, which isn’t what I want.

Can anyone help? Either by suggesting a plugin where I can have my organisation’s logo on the left and flashing quotes on the right or how I can fiddle with the template and plugin to make this work? I’m a bit baffled…
