[Theme: PageLines Lite] How to create custom home page with slideshow?

I’m building a static site with no blog posts, so all web pages are considered “page” entries. I want to have a slideshow in the home page header under the nab bar, but the header.php applies to all pages in the site. I am using Meteor plugin for the slideshow. There is currently a custom header image as well that’s shared on all pages.

Anyone know how to isolate the home page code so it will play a slideshow but other pages won’t? Thanks!
