I highly recommend doing this in a child theme to avoid having your changes overwritten by future theme updates.

The option under Settings -> Reading only applies to your blog’s RSS feed, not the theme’s display.

Thanks for this wonderful theme :). Please is there a way I can include the post images in the excerpts on the front page?

I like the excerpt idea on the front page, but I would also like it to include the image inserted into the post.
