[Theme: Pachyderm] How can I change Menu Bar color?

I am working with people who have learning disabilities to create a website. They love the nice clean feel of the pachyderm theme but the menu bar is a little difficult for some people to see clearly. Is it possible to change the menu bar color and enlarge the menu text slightly.
