[Theme: P2] Default post type as "Blog Post"

The only post type I need on the front end is “Blog Post” with the title/text/tags fields.
How can I get rid of the other three choices: Status Update/Quote/Link (and the make “Blog Post” the default post type instead of “Status Update”).
Suggestion for next update: it would be nice if there was a section in the theme options with four check boxes allowing people to select which post formats they prefer. Those buttons are unnecessary for basic posting (such as the basic posting in older versions of this theme).
