Hello! I have perused through the forum in hopes of finding an answer but have found none. Sorry to be a bother, but I have exhausted all my (very basic) wordpress knowledge.

1 How do I remove the comment box for my pages and posts? This website is meant to be a ‘professional portfolio.’ I’ve gone through and unclicked allow comments, ping backs, etc. I also have been reading a lot about the quick-edit comment disabling feature on pages and I cannot find that when I go to edit. Also, this strikes me as important, I don’t know what quick-edit means.

    Generally, I am confused.

    2. Picture size on the site is minimal, even when I go in and edit the alignment. I would like to upload images of my poetry (which you can see under the poetry section) and cannot get the sizing to properly show the text.

I hope that these questions weren’t confusing? the site is https://mollymcghee.wordpress.com/

    Own questions answered:

    1. To remove the comment box one must check all the aforementioned boxes *can be found in settings* and then delete the page that is giving them trouble. The only way for the reply option to go away is if the page is created afresh while the boxes are unclicked.

    2. For full picture size ‘full width’ must be selected in templates. Full pictures cannot be had in default theme setting.
