[theme: oxygen] Image placement to left of header

Like many, i switched from the wordpress.com to self-hosting and am struggling with adding a small image to the left of my site (it’s still full of test posts currently liveinernest.com)

I love the size of the title right now and want my little black and white logo to be roughly the same size as the header and tagline text.

Any help out there to make it simple for a simpleton like me?
