• Apologies in advance if this is a really noob question (my first post, and I’m learning as I go). I’ve searched for hours to try and figure it out, so I thought it might be time to just ask for help!

I’ve recently installed the Novo child theme by ZigZagPress, and according to the documentation, the theme only has 2 widget areas, “Primary Sidebar” and “Bottom Widget Area” – both of which I can see/adjust in dashboard no problems.

However, when I click on a test post, such as this there is a “Secondary Sidebar Widget Area” displaying at the bottom of the post…which is not showing up in my dashboard.

    Thoughts? TIA!

  • I had the same issue, there is a easy fix: in your wp dashboard go to genesis theme settings click on the default layout pictogram, it will now show a thin grey line around it, save settings

    Everything works!
