Theme not showing up on website …

  • Hello … This is my first post on here, so here goes.

    I have installed this theme on my website and all I am getting is a “page under construction” notice. Now I did load WP onto the domain and, from that end, all is good. The hosting service said, though, that I needed to reach out to WP.org for any support around this issue.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • Sounds like there is likely an index.html or home.html page in the root of your server – which blocks access to WordPress. Check that using your hosting file manager or FTP.

    I did find it. Thanks. Now get rid of it from the file manager? Will that allow the theme to appear? Thank you.

    Yep, deleting it should allow your WP site to work and be visible, so long as it’s installed there and correctly :)!
