theme not showing properly.

If you check the website now the main page slider is not showing up. I did not change or edit anything. Last night the slider was there and now it is missing.

Could you try deactivating all your plugins and see if the slider reappears?

If it does, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

I have deactivated all plug ins

(Bulk action -> Deactivate) it did not work.

I activated all of them again and the slider now shows up.

I also have the same issue. Very frustratingly, this has happened several times in the process of establishing the site. I will make changes to the site (adding/subtracting elements, editing texts, choosing different menu styles, choosing title placement and width, etc), then publish the site and come back to it at any point (it’s happened immediately or days after) and these changes have arbitrarily changed themselves to something else. In the case of text, it reverts back to the dummy content information.

I am very disappointed that this keeps happening and do not feel confident that the site will remain the way that I have created it. There has been a lot of lost time in order to get back content that I had already changed.

Is this *only* an issue with plugins? The only ones that I have were provided to me with the purchase of the Untitled theme. If these plugins are making the theme buggy, why have they been included?

Since this seems to be an overarching problem, can you point to one specific plugin that would be at fault here?

Hi katieadmin – I’m sorry you’re having trouble here. I wanted to first clarify a few things so we can get to the bottom of what’s going on.

Is this *only* an issue with plugins? The only ones that I have were provided to me with the purchase of the Untitled theme. If these plugins are making the theme buggy, why have they been included?

No plugins are included with Untitled, which is a free theme. If you want to use the slider, you do need to activate the Jetpack plugin to use Featured Content, but that is also free.

You mention being a “Frustrated buyer” so I wanted to confirm whether you’re actually using Untitled or a different (premium?) theme which required payment. Could you please provide a link to your site running Untitled so I can take a look directly?
