theme not compatible

    Hi, I have upgraded to the latest version of wordpress through my hosting provider, and it seems the theme I am using is not compatible with the latest upgrade.

    I have a couple of problems with the pages, they show the latest posts running down the left hand side bar, and the categories are showing full posts and not small snippets of each post.

    Posts are ok.

    Is there a way I can fix this myself, the hosting company has suggested a ‘nuke’ I am not sure what they mean by this, they also suggested I change the theme, but I don’t think this is something I could do myself. They also said they can restore the a/c from a back up date, but I am not sure yet if this is the same as the ‘nuke’ suggestion.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am using the ‘ambient glo’ theme.

    In admin control panel; click

    appearance > themes > Install theme

    follow instrunctions form there

    Will be faster than fixing current errors one by 1

    reviews the characters of the title of the category (., ^ ? …) with that sort it out.
