Theme My Login and WP 4.1 lock me out

  • Just added the plugin “theme my login” I am no longer able to login to the dashboard. I have tried to log in via FTP however it does not recognize my username and password there either. I am trying to get into the site to deactivate the plug in with no luck. Any suggestions?

  • Are you using the correct info to login via FTP? That’s not generally the same as your WP login – you need to get the FTP info from your hosting company. Once you get in via FTP, you should be able to delete the plugin from the plugins folder.

    You can also use Cpanel – if your site has that and you have that login info.
