• I looked around and found some solutions revolving changing the codes in .php, but I was wondering if there were any easier solutions just in case I did something wrong (not so good with php).

I am trying to hide a certain category from my homepage (which displays recent posts), but still have it showing in the sidebar under it’s own name. For example:

My website. I am trying to hide posts from the category “Code” to show in the homepage feed, but I do want a separate widget dedicated to that category on the sidebar.

I tried “WP Hide Post” and made it hide posts from the homepage, but when I used “List Category Posts” (a widget that display posts from specific categories in the sidebar), WP Hide Post hides those links as well.

Any suggestions on what I should try? Is there a “lesser” version of WP Hide Post that only hides posts from the homepage feed?
