I’m not sure about that. I always create my own theme starting from a really simpler one, like Twenty Ten or ET Starter. But if you want to play a little bit without having much knowledge about code, you can try software like Artisteer: https://www.artisteer.com

Something like that can give you a lot of freedom now that your starting working on WP.
