[Theme: Minimatica] Images for Each Post in Blog mode????

so I think I must be an idiot because I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get images to show above each post I make in Blog mode.

The creator had a wonderful example on his site were each blog post was headed up by an image.

Can anyone enlighten me on how the heck this is achieved?
