• Hi,

I am using the theme Minimable from Fedeweb.
It is all working great except I cannot get the main navigation menu to display. Its a scrolling theme and there is supposed a main nav on all pages except the home page.
Anyone used this theme and have any ideas on this?
    Link to theme demo
If you click on say Our Staff, you will see the main nav at the top of the page, this is the menu I am missing.

    Thanks

  • Hi Wescottgj,

To make the floating menu appear make sure the menu structure you’ve created is selected as “Primary Navigation” in the “Theme Navigation” box on the left hand side. Hope that makes sense?

Have you got your gallery and contact form to work? Despite following the instructions no images appear on my site and I don’t have any short code for my contact form! Any advice would really help!

    Hi all,

I am new here as well new to using this theme we are talking about.
First off, I LOVE the theme, its very fresh, clean and different from other themes out there.

Now, I have read your questions and while I assume and believe that you all already have the answers you were looking for, I am going to do my best trying to answer them anyway.

Here we go (please excuse me if my grammar or English is not perfect, I am Swedish after all):
    ___________________________________________________________

    Regarding the menu:

    1. Go to Appearance and click on Menus. Click to create a new menu. Name if and save it.
    2. On your left you have (using WP 3.6.1) “Links” and if you click on that, you can create a “custom link” which is what we need here.
Unless you do this, you wont be able to see the “URL” field, which is very important.
    3. Add a “link” and then customize it according to what you need.

    Info here:
    https://minimable.fedeweb.net/docs/index.html

Just do not forget to add a “custom link” for all your “items” within you menu, if not, they will not have the URL option which you need for adding the “#page-2” etc. pages into.

When you are done, use this menu as default by choosing it as default.

    Pages:
In terms of pages, you need to set the slug/ permalink to #page-1, #page-2 etc. and you also need to choose what type of page it is to your right under “template”, there is “home”, “contact”, “gallery”, “staff” and “portfolio”. You can also choose to edit the “bubbles” here and set whatever text you want in them for each page.

Just remember, the menu will be displayed by default on top to the right and will have whatever text as the link text that you put in while creating the menu itself, it is not displaying/ depending on the pages or what they are called/ named.
