• Hello,
I would like to NOT have a site title or description entered in WP settings.

And I would like Matala theme to act like THERE IS a site title/description because I have included a graphic that serves as the title in a custom background file.

I would like to keep the Matala pages fixed to accommodate the spacing AS IF there was a title/description in WP settings.

    Can you help with that?

    Thanks

Since I was sitting her puzzleing on this matter, and I am not code savy, I decided to try something, and so far it has worked.

I have NO text entered into the WP settings for site title or description.

    I then chose to upload a custom header that is a transparent.png size 940 x 150px.

This allows my (somewhat complicated) background image with my site title as a graphic element to be seen.

It also keeps the menus and posts in postion, instead of shifting towards the top.

Does that sound like a good way to do it?

Site title and description is very important as far as SEO is concerned.I heard that Site web design does not matter.I do not know technically things , what i know i have shared here.thanks

Regarding SEO – hopefully my SEO plugin will override that. I am using WordPress SEO plugin by Joost de Valk
