Theme Live Preview Not Working

  • HELP! Our Live Preview for Themes feature is not working.

    I’ve tried every Theme that is presently installed, and none of them render a PREVIEW. All we see is a blank white area where the page content ought to be.

    Is this a sign that there is something “wrong”, or trouble brewing?

    I’ve installed a new theme that we are considering switching to, but would LOVE to see at least a rough, Live Preview before activating it.

    Any suggestions? Solutions?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    I am having the same issue. I followed the advice above, but no help. Additionally, when I try to add new theme and select to view Featured, et al. no themes appear.
