Theme: Lights Out v2.0

  • StyledSheet is the new ForgetTheBull!

    I’ve changed my URL, and in celebration I’ve rolled out the newest version of my custom site theme: “Lights Out”.

    I would appreciate any comments or criticisms. I also have no means of checking how it looks in Safari, so if any of you Mac users don’t mind, could you inform me of any design inconsistencies?

    Note: A criticism of my last installment of Lights Out was that it was a horizontal layout. Well, I love the HZ layout, so for this one I went or a Horizontal/Vertical hybrid! Howd I do?

    Also: I tried to make the interface very responsive to the user. (i.e. elliot swans’ better-than-live search; the navigation on the main page; ajax commenting; and a new JS function to only offer the comment submit button to people who have filled in a name and email.) Thoughts on all of this?

  • Um. FTB, the only place that link goes is styledsheet.com – this is your new site? All I see is the same kubrick that’s everywhere….

    OK so it’s not official, but I might be the biggest idiot ever!

    ..I hope there is an award for that!

    I actually had my stylechanger on while I tested the site.. SO, I thought my theme was set, but actually it was still set to the default theme. Everything is good now!

    Heh. INFINITELY better than kubrick! Very nice. Slow-ish loading, but that could be my connect who knows. Goin’ good though!

    @vkaryl: Thanks! Hmm.. I’m going to look into the slow load- I have a feeling I may have too much JS!

    Anyone else experiencing a slow load?
