• OK, I actually have two questions. First, when I view my page locally (https://localhost) I can view my blog with the themed layout and pretty graphics just fine. When I view it remotely via my outside address, I get a plain text version of my blog. Any ideas why it isn’t displaying properly? I looked through the support forums and didn’t find anything on this, but maybe I didn’t look hard enough.
Secondly, I am running the blog with WAMP and am curious how to set up my blog so when someone goes to my website (www.neuralzen.com) the blog will show up (versus going to https://www.neuralzen.com/blogfolder). As I understand it I can just drop everything into my www folder to do this, but that may cause problems as a php interface for WAMP already exists as index.php there. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a total noob. Thanks!

PS The blog is offline until I get it fixed

  • 1) Search here in the forums for localhost…

    2) Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory or perhaps Moving_WordPress

Looks good except I am using WAMP which keeps its user interface in the root directory also named index.php. Can I just move this with no ill effects?

UPDATE: I just moved the index.php used by WAMP to a higher directory and followed the instructions in the site you linked (thanks!, btw). That solved problem 1, but the site still looks like plain text instead of using the layout. Any ideas? Thank you!
