Theme language stuck after deployment

    Translations worked perfectly fine in development environment, but after deploying to live site the theme language is stuck on its default language (english). All post, page and plugin translations are still working, but the theme related strings won’t change. I double checked the theme’s translation (.pot, .po, .mo) files and they are all correct.

    Any ideas on what might cause this?
