• Hi,

I have a problem with custom order tabs, I have already contacted the support team of that plugin, but they advised to turn to you.
Here is the issue: on a product when try to move on to another tab, Description tab remains and the required tab’s content appears under the description. I use the same tools (=oceanwp, elementor, woocommerce, custom product tab) on another account, but there it’s working fine, so not sure what is the problem on this site.
An example from the other page, where it’s working fine: https://eft-terapeutak.hu/product/eft-core-skills-2021-2022-module-1-2/

Not sure why is it not working on https://konyvimadok.hu.

This the response I got from the other support team: “This looks like an issue with your theme’s JS. I’m not really sure why, but it looks like the JS is enabling the tab you click on without disabling the previous tab, which results in the description tab always being shown. Our plugin doesn’t add any JS, so you should reach out to your theme developer or take a look at the JS bundled with your theme.”

Thanks a lot for your help in advance!

  • Hello @magdizajn78,

I fully examined the issue you have raised on this topic and could not see it on my end. We need to know the steps to replicate.

Since I didn’t see this issue in other products, there may be an option in this product that made this problem.

Please re-create this product but, this time step by step, for example, type title and price, publish the product. Then add the description. Update the products and check the issue until finding the reason for this issue.

Note1: Please check those steps on your staging website without other plugins.

Perhaps some HTML tags in descriptions and content didn’t close and made this issue.

Also, for troubleshooting, please do the following steps and let me know the results:
1- Head over to WP Dashboard > Plugin.
    2- Deactivate all plugins.
3- Then, first activate the Ocean Extra plugin.
    4- Check your issue.
5- Then, activate your plugins one by one
6- After activation of any plugins, check your issue

Note 2: If the above steps didn’t help you find the issue. Please share some screenshots or a short video from all options of your product settings. You can upload your files to one of the following online services:
    https://postimages.org
    https://imgbb.com
    https://www.loom.com
    https://drive.google.com

Note 3: I can see you are using the cache plugin. If you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes.

The final thing, please tell us a little about the versions of plugins you use. To do this, please go to WP Dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info Tab and click on the button Copy site info to clipboard. You can send the information as code here or upload them to https://pastebin.com/ and get an exclusive link.

    I hope that helps.

    Best Regards

    Hi,

The problem appears on all products, this tab was added after few weeks of the webshop start, so the problem exists on every product. To deactivate all plugins now is impossible as a campaing is running to sell out low-stock books.
I switched off the cache plugin, it did not solve the problem. (I cached lot of times before.. :/ )
Even if I switch off the custom product tab plugin the screens are the same, see screenshots here:

    Thanks for your help!

Sorry, i did not reply to all your questions – I update all plugins every week.
    Wordpress: 5.9
    ocean extra: 1.9.3
    elementor: 3.5.4
    elementor pro: 3.5.2
    woocommerce: 6.1.1
woo custom product tab – 1.7.7
    oceanwp-(i use child theme): 3.1.2

    Hello @magdizajn78,

Alright, thank you for sharing the screenshots,
Now I checked the issue on this link: https://konyvimadok.hu/termek/robin-owrightly-erelem-eszetlen-szerelem/ I can see the cache plugin influence in the page(or maybe customization).

Please check this URL: https://konyvimadok.hu/wp-content/uploads/so-css/so-css-oceanwp.css?ver=1643361758 it’s a CSS file that was loaded on the page. But it should come from the theme path: https://konyvimadok.hu/wp-content/themes/oceanwp/.

Note: if you have any custom CSS or customization, please remove all of them(temporary) and recheck your issue. I think the problem is related to cached custom CSS.

    Please check this video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Swqx08WX8pVoFpAmRNh0K6fdyYxOidAJ/view?usp=sharing.

Please recheck your issue and keep us posted.
