• So my hosting company transferred my sites to a new server. I have two sites with the exact theme on each, however, my main site does not wrap the background color to the entire blog like my other one. I even copied the code and reapplied with no change. Initially it was not connecting to the database but they have since corrected that so now I’m left with this one theme issue. The site in question is hterry.com The issue seems to transfer to every single page and I cannot find any code missing. Do you have any suggestions? Do you need to see a copy of my style.css code?

  • Hello there! Do you mainly want the outline of that container to be a little lower? (The thing you can see right about “Ugh”?) Or is it also the whole column on the right side as well?

    What do you mean by “wrap the background color”? What should the site look like? If the other site is good, please post a link to it.

    There are a lot of broken image links! this may be part of the issue.

    How can you tell they are images? I don’t see names attached to it. What’s the names of those images so I can research it? Maybe they didn’t get all of my stuff when they transferred it??

    The white is supposed to travel all the way down the page.

    The other site in question which has no issues is notamused.net

    It looks like they broke something when moving the site.

    This CSS

    #wrap { display: inline-block; }

    fixes the background;

    Thank you, this just goes under the content section in the stylesheet?

    Okay I added that line in the stylesheet #wrap section, however, it stripped the sidebar coding now.

    Wait I got it! I placed it in the content wrapper. Thank you very much for your help!! One last thing, where should I look for all those broken images so I may clean up the site?

    The broken images are a mystery. You’ll have to do some exploring.
