[Theme Issue] How to recover multisite when subsite crashes

I come from Zikula/Post-Nuke/PHP-Nuke. I have spent years using that CMS but I am diligently adopting WordPress at the moment.

I’m working a Multisite setup (and loving it) but I keep running into issues. I will install a Theme through the Network Dashboard, Activate on a Subsite, then suddenly that site crashes.

Now, luckily, I am doing this while still in ‘Beta’ mode. So what I do right now is to delete the subsite and start over just without that Theme.

But I’m used to Zikula where you can upload a ‘Swiss Army Knife’ app to your server and log in and master-control your site settings. So if you screwed something up, you can unscrew it.

IS THERE ANYTHING LIKE THIS WITH WORDPRESS?

I’m really worried that I’m going to begin production mode and have one of these glitches with a site with MASSIVE investment of time and energy towards.

Any ideas?
