Theme issue after update

    Well, I upgraded WordPress to v4 and my custom template is missing. I have (had) just one custom template, the folders structure is correct, I have index.php and style.css in my template folder, and the site is running locally.

    This new version also comes with 4 themes and some of them even appear in wp-content/themes folder. Anybody knows how to solve this issue?

  • Hello Adair,

    Do you have a backup or the previous theme? If you can get that version, then you can keep the customizations that you had in the previous theme version. It sounds like the theme update might have overwritten the customizations you previously had.

    Thanks for you help Andrew.

    I’ve saved a copy of the files before the upgdate. Actually, I had to reinstall WordPress in my host and now everything is working perfectly.
