Theme isn’t changing, can’t see admin bar.

    I’m in dire need of help, today I went to start working more on my site. I first logged in using /wp-admin and noticed my admin bar had disappeared on my site, did some research and couldn’t figure it out from my research, Decided to change my theme in hopes of the admin bar reappearing. After activating a new theme it didn’t change from the original theme I had before encountering the problem, and it’s just stayed exactly the same even after switching to 3 different themes. I’ve gotten extremely frustrated trying to figure this out and even more frustrated trying to find a support number or anywhere to get help for this. I’m completely new to WordPress but I don’t see why I’m having this basic problem, I apologize if this is not the proper place to post about this.
    My site is nocertainty.net for you to see, the original theme I had was Dara and my admin bar was showing up yesterday… I don’t know what’s going on today but I’m just getting really angry and would appreciate any help at this point. Thanks

  • If you are logged in you can get to the dashboard by adding /wp-admin/index.php to the root domain.

    Also, do you have any type of caching set up for your site (caching plugins, CloudFlare, or host-based caching turned on)? If your themes are not changing on the front end, that sounds like a potential issue with caching.

    I notice when clicking the blog page on my website, it shows my new theme and my admin bar appeared. I deleted my old front home page and created a new home page called “new home page (test)” and set it as my frontpage. Clicked Visit site from the dashboard and it was still messed up, refreshed and it appeared to fix my problem… :O I nearly had a breakdown trying to figure this out my goodness.
