theme is broken

  • Hi,

    I have got trouble downloading new themes on my WP. i receive the following message: “The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme.”
    For one theme i am told that the “stylesheet is missing” and for the other one i am told that “the parent theme is missing”.

    I have previously downloaded themes for another site and i had no issues so i am perplex.

    The only difference from before is that the domain i am trying to work on now redirects to a subdirectory; I have installed more than one domain under the same account with my hosting provider and i have been told that i needed to point them under subdirectories to be able to add different content to each of them.
    Could it be the reason themes won’t install properly now?
    How do I fix it?
