• So, I was trying to upload a new theme that I paid for and received this error:
Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: Unable to access /home/airshowp/public_html/wp-content/themes/reviewit-theme/style.css in /home/airshowp/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4339

Warning: fopen(/home/airshowp/public_html/wp-content/themes/reviewit-theme/style.css) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/airshowp/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4339

Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/airshowp/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4342

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/airshowp/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4345

I then tried re-installing 3.2.1 and same error.

You should ask the vendor of the theme – it could be a child theme that requires a parent theme or you may have uploaded a folder that contains the theme as well as some other stuff rather than just the theme files – its difficult for a volunteer here to troubleshoot if the theme is not freely available to have a look at.

    Well,

They set it to where it is in a zip file. And, once you open it, there are two folders:
    1) help
    2) [theme name w/ theme contents]

but, they did not provide a zip unlock password and won’t; therefore, I can’t upload the single theme folder. Extremely frustrating…

How are you supposed to install it if its zipped up with a password? That doesn’t really make any sense.

I did a search on your theme name and it turns out to be a themeforest one. You can see a generic instruction on dealing with theme installation issues here -> https://wiki.envato.com/buying/support-buying/solving-broken-theme-issues/

And there’s a link to get support from your theme’s author here -> https://ghostpool.com/help/reviewit/help.html

I’m sure its simple fix, but the password protected zip thing is weird.

If you can’t get it working, I’d recommend you get a refund & spend your money on a decent theme from a GPL compatible vendor.

It is a themeforest template; however, I bought it from another authorized company that had it discounted. And, yes – he zipped it and they are not giving a refund. This is the upmost inconvenient thing. I will try at your links. The problem is, is that there is a help folder and then the theme folder, but I cannot extract the theme folder and upload it because it requires a password. And, in that video it says, “? Unzip the final zip file; you should now have a final download folder.
” which I can’t because he passworded it and won’t hand over the pass. I just.. don’t know what to do. Thanks, cube!

If its a password protected zip and they won’t give you the password, I can’t see how you can possibly use it.

Good luck – hope you get it resolved

I guess I have to file a dispute at this point, but I don’t think PayPal does anything for virtual goods

LOL there is no other authorized company to sell the theme except themeforest and the developer who produced it. So if you would purchase the theme from themeforest and not download it from a free give away site you wouldn’t have that problem. and then come here to look for support knowing you cant go to the themeforest developers support page not having a transaction number to provide for proof of purchase makes you look like an idiot here.

Im not trying to sound like a D**K but honestly anyone who knows anything about ENVATO will vouch for me and agree.

    Good Luck with it ??
