Theme installation crashing site?

I purchased a theme from Themeforest. When I try to install the theme using wordpress it gives me an error that my PHP.ini file is restricting my file upload which is fine.
So I decided to just use Cpanel to upload my theme manually.
I upload it extract it and see it in my “themes” tab of WP just fine.
But when I try to activate it or use the live preview it breaks my entire WordPress.
it breaks my wp-admin and it breaks the site itself. What do I do? I am honestly stuck.

pleas help me! I tried contacting the Theme creator but his response time is very slow and I have a client and a deadline.
