Theme install: links are a double address starting with theme folder

  • Hello all.
    Newbie to WordPress. Have eberything working fine except when installing a new theme, in this case “Falling Water”, I nam getting a double address returned on all major links as in
    ” /wordpress/wp-content/themes/falling_dreams/https://www.hotelresortreviews.com/”

    The default and classic themes are not returning this double address: can anyone tell me which file needs to be corrected?

    The files are at the root of https://www.hotelresortreviews.com/

    When I visited the site the Classic was active and in the permalinks (=post and Page title) it had the same double address.
    Is your WP installed in a subdirectory and not in the root? Did you follow all the instructions when moving?

    Yes, I moved on to start up another blog and made a hash of it. I’ll do a search for “moving”. Thanks Moshu
