  • A conflict check will help identify what is duplicating your page content. If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. You can find it here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts

thanks. Yes, I did that. And I confirmed that it is definitely a conflict between my custom theme and Yoast. I just don’t know what in the theme is causing the conflict?

I am having a similar conflict within the theme and Yoast but my slows down the site and it makes it very slow to type content onto the pages.

Is there an easy way to check what in the theme or your plugin could be causing the conflict?

This is what the theme developer mentioned to us
Seems like the page freezes when you use Yoast SEO Focus Keyword Field. We have never encountered such problem before.

Yoast SEO Focus Keyword Field is very slow, and the shortcodes make it even slower.

    Thanks, any help appreciated!

@jim3pl: What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

@esmi my apologies, I asked the question here as he was also having a theme conflict. I will start a new one. Thanks

It is a custom theme created by the company that built our website (Sir Lion Labs)…

    Appreciate your help!

I’m sorry but as you are using a custom theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s original developer. We do not have access to, nor can we support, custom themes here. Your best bet is always your theme’s developer as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
