Theme images called twice when using CDN Base URL

    I have CDN Base URL set for MaxCDN. It works but GTMetrix reports:

    Serve resources from a consistent URL
    The following resources have identical contents, but are served from different URLs. Serve these resources from a consistent URL.

    I checked the CSS coming from Autoptimize and it is including theme images twice with my local and CDN urls.

    Hi

    The plugin is currently not active – but I noticed the images that were referenced twice were NOT background images. I think I read somewhere that the plugin only supports background images for CDN.

    indeed only background-images in CSS are replaced (either inlined or cdn’ed) by AO plan9, as per this line of code, so if the imags that appeared twice were not background-images, then the problem must have been caused by something else?
