(Theme) icons on TinyMCE balk

  • I use the Nicole Theme from ?
    After installing the the (looks good but many faulds) I see on my TinyMCE 5 new icons (shortcuts) Because my eyes are not so good (old age) I have to force my browser screen from 125% to 110%. But I don’t use or have to use these icons. How to get them out???? Please help me out.

    Sorry, we cannot help you with that theme – it’s not released under the GPL licensing requirements of WP. I’d strongly suggest you read this article

    I read the artikel but there is NO harm for me on this theme.
    I cheked the foot.php and removed all code I dont use.
    Well it will be a time to find out where to disable the icons I have to remove.

    That’s not the point – non-GPL themes are not consistent with the principles and policies of WP.ORG – so they are not supported or welcome here. Sorry.

    how to ensure that buying those theme has not been done for SEO Spam purpose?

    It’s a reputation thing. Legitimate theme providers let you remove any links in the theme without any questions asked. That’s part of the freedom that GPL’ed themes give you.

    All right but where to find a free theme likes this one. I search over 2500 themes bu not the theme I whas looking for. So I take out what I dont need and it is running very smooth.

    Again a problem with the update. Now my images becom grey. I have to roll back the update to 3.6.1. Well I stop to update till maybey there is update 5.9

    Well if you take a little bit of time to examen the theme then you can see what and not to take out. The the i use is dimantelted for a lot of thins i dont need or use. It is getting much lheiter then it whas. So if WordPress don’t allow these themes I am very SORRY to ask a question. And by the way I found the way to take out the extra icons out of the TinyMCe.

    @giatitta: That the pictures are getting grey is NOT the theme but the update to 3.7.

    So the problem si the last WordPress Update ?

    That theme may have a problem with WP3.7 – but WP3.7 is not causing this problem in general – if it were, everyone would have this problem.

    @giatitta – if you need help with something, please start a new thread – the OP has solved the problem of this thread’s topic.
