[Theme: Hatch] pay to find out how to add the text on the left side of the image

Hatch is absolutely free and its documentation is here: https://alienwp.com/documentation/hatch-theme-documentation/ .

The theme doesn’t introduce any non-standard WordPress feature, so anyone familiar with WordPress should have no problems using it. I do agree though, that not that many themes utilize the “Biography” field, so that feature might not be as intuitive. Anyway, the doc should make things more clear.

If Hatch was “broken or incomplete”, it wouldn’t be hosted on www.remarpro.com. Updates can be buggy sometimes, of course, but since so many people use the theme, the feedback is immediate and fixes follow shortly.

A theme that doesn’t crop the thumbnails is in the works.

Thank you for the link to that page Griden. I searched for hours and hours before and never found it. Maybe it just got hidden by Bing or Google (Panda/Penguin) before.

It was impossible to tell if the Theme was broken before as well or just missing setup information because the theme links to a log-in page that says you have to pay to use it and the person I emailed said if I don’t pay they wouldn’t say if the Theme works. Then after that, even if I pay they won’t help. So I wouldn’t say absolutely free.

Resourceful let’s move this qTranslate question to another post.

Paid support is optional and is for those who need help setting and using the theme. Plus other extras, of course. But there is nothing preventing you from using theme without paying a dime. It’s not “crippleware” or anything like that.

The theme is provided for free, but I simply can’t afford to provide free support on top of that. At least not if I want to maintain high quality and remain competitive.

hellasphotography or Griden could you tell me what I am doing wrong? I have sorted everything out on this theme exactly how I want it, but can’t get a menu/widget menu to show at the top of the page like it does in yours and in the preview. It says it is there and I added categories and pages to it as that’s what I wanted people to be able to select from it :S also on each individual post, can I remove where it says who posted it, date etc? I don’t really want that information on there.

you must go to:Appearance>Menus, where is the place you can set this.
First give the menu a xyz name, then sort the pages as you like in the right area of the open window.

The theme’s author would have more time to spend on issues if new threads were created for different issues and people. This helps keep track of who’s having which issue.
