• After searching this site for info on how to change a sidebar width, I am finding advice about looking for xyz in the code where you can clearly see the pixels of the margins. In my sidebar.php, there is nothing like that. I am using a theme I made from Artisteer. Is there not a way to manipulate sidebars for themes that have no mention of margin width in the code? Thanks anyone!

  • Margin has nothing to do with the actual width of your sidebar. It tells you how much space is between content div and your sidebar for example.

If you want to change the width of your sidebar you probably also have to change the width of your content div. But its hard to help you w/o seeing the actual code.

    Hey there, Brett & DO77.

I’m not finding any info on how to keep actual post margins from riding all the way to the side of the div_content width.

It’s only the posts that I made on the old theme. Recently changed themes, and the original posts just aren’t adjusting.

    Got any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Felix
