Theme gone completely mad all by itself

  • Hi guys.

    I haven’t logged into my WP site for a week or more, as it’s still in development, and, today when I logged in, it looked completely horrible.

    I’m the only admin, and I haven’t edited anything since the last time I looked at it when it was fine, but, this is how it now displays. (see attached screenshot, private content whited out)

    Oh, snap, why can’t I upload a screenshot to this thread?

    Oh, great, I’ve just now realized I can’t actually add screenshots here.

    How on earth do I share that then? I don’t want to open my website up to the entire world, I have hide my site activated, I don’t want it crawled until it’s ready.

    Well, I just browsed the website from an other computer, and it displayed all fine, though, weirdly enough, even from my phone it displayed weirdly at the time of me testing this.

    Could it have been the fact that I was actually browsing my website from a Windows Server 2008 R2 that didn’t have its video driver installed yet, so it was just running on the Standard VGA Adapter driver on 1024×728 resolution?

    Though the theme displays fine now on my phone, I do wonder what the difference was.

    I was indeed on a slower internet connection at that location, could that have affected it?

    I still can’t believe I can’t just upload a screenshot to this forum.

    Hello,

    You could always upload a screenshot to any photo sharing website and provide a link to it. You could also provide a URL of your website and I can take a look at how it is set up as well as debug any errors that may be causing an issue.
