[Theme: Frisco for BuddyPress] Problems with creating child theme in Frisco

I’ve created a child theme to customize the styling but it’s not working at all. So I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong.

Frisco is a child theme of the BuddyPress default theme so that won’t work.

I’d recommend using a custom stylesheet and custom functions file for customizing the Frisco theme. On the Theme Options page in the dashboard, there is a checkbox to enable a custom stylesheet or custom functions file. You need to create each file using the file name and location specified on that page.

Or just edit template files directly and copy over template files from the BuddyPress default theme if you need them. This will make it harder to upgrade to future versions of the theme, but it’s the only way to have more control.

How do I display certain profile fields in member’s header?

I’ve created profile fields named “Location” and “Hobbies” in Buddypress>Profile Fields.
How do I display these fields in the member’s header just below the name of a profile.
Pls could you provide me the code and step-by-step instructions?
