theme footer has disapeared

    Hi, it was there a few days ago and today I noticed the footer I put together has gone. I’m using a child theme, if I switch back to the parent theme the footer returns. how do I make it show on the child theme?

    If the footer isn’t displayed only when the child theme is active, it means there is an issue with the code added in the child theme files. Unfortunately, this isn’t a general issue with the theme and it only occurs using the configuration from your child theme, so it’s difficult to point a solution. You could try to install a fresh copy of the child theme, copy each file/code snippet from the older one and add it in the new child theme, while refreshing the site to see when the issue reappears.
