• Describe the bug
The color of the font on the edit page (gutenberg) changes to the same color of the fonts on the theme.

My site has a black background and white fonts. And when editing a page it gets the same selected color for my theme (storefront), but the background on the page edition is also white, making the words invisible.

The only way i can type and see is by selecting the text and memorizing the positions.

Of course i can change the color of the fonts to edit, and then change it back, but that will change the font color on the site while i am editing.

To reproduce (you must have gutenberg)
    Go to Appearance > Editor
    Click on Fonts
Change Header 1 and paragraph colors to white
    Publish the change
Go to Pages>All Pages and edit one page
Create a paragraph or a header block and write something on it.

    What happens:
The font will be white, and impossible to see

    What should happen:
The font should keep being black, so it contrast with the white background

( i am assuming i should report this here, but if there is a special support for storefront, please let me know)

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out!

I couldn’t see Appearance >> Editor and there’s no Fonts section in Appearance >> Customize, but I navigated around for a bit and changed the Heading colour and Text colour to White in Appearance >> Customize >> Typography.

Indeed after that the text in page editor was white:

I’ve reported this behaviour to developers here:

    https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/16537

This doesn’t seem to be related to WooCommerce itself since it’s also happening with WooCommerce plugin disabled, therefore I’ll be marking this thread as resolved.

    Have a wonderful day ahead!

Thanks Grigaswp for all your help and for reporting it! ??

I in fact reported it to gutenberg as well a couple weeks ago.

They told me maybe it was Storefront Theme related, because the option for changing font color was related to the theme appearance.

Maybe we should find another theme that changes the font color to check…

    Hi there,

Indeed it seems like this is Storefront theme-related.

I’ve re-opened the report in Storefront GitHub repository:
