theme files disappear / missing stylesheet

    After the last update, my site went all wrong. I got the message that the style sheet was missing from the theme (I use a child theme by the way).
    I tried to copy (with filezilla) a style.css from the hueman theme on an offline site I use for testing purposes, but as soon as I copied it and tested my site, all other theme files disappeared.
    I then tried to copy all hueman files from my offline testing site, but the same issue appeared.

    I managed to restore my site from a recent backup (thank you, plugin UpdraftPlus!), the only thing that I had to repair were the sidebars that disappeard.

    I have no clue what caused this issue, and am hesitating now to update the theme, so I hope there will be a solution soon. Or it it’s something other not-related to the update, I’d be glad to get advice how to proceed.

    Theme update for Hueman theme is done automatically via Appearance -> Themes

    If there is something wrong with your theme update, you can delete Hueman theme via FTP wp-content/themes/hueman folder and re-install again via Appearance -> Themes

    A theme update could fail because your server timed out early before the whole process is completed.
