• WP version 3.6.1
    Expressions ver 1.28.4
The theme includes a search widget [I don’t think I added it separately]
Everything works, but I would like to modify the results page by adding a paragraph of information at the top of the page. The “page” is ?s=<search word>, but that obviously is not a standard WP page that I can access to modify.

How do I get to the code to make the changes I need?

PS. Is this a WP issue, or a theme issue, or a widget issue? I am not even sure how to classify the issue.
    Thank you.

    Hi inventorgeorge

Searches are displayed in the page that I created. That page is search.php. in the theme files. If you are comfortable editing php files then you can go in and change it. But be careful, mistakes can cause havoc with the site. Make sure any changes you make are through the child theme concept, or you will lose them when the theme updates.

Adding custom paragraphs to search results is not a normal thing to include in a theme, to my knowledge anyway. The page shows the search term in a search results header.
